When you say juddering, could it be clutch judder?

Sounds like a burnt out exhaust valve.

Check spark plug gap and colour of plug which should be light brown at electrode end.
Could be a HT lead or coil that are faulty.

Be extremely critical of the compression pressures and use a good gauge, these engines are sensitive to even a 1 bar difference between cylinders. If the coil pack and plug are OK on number 4 that is not much else it can be without a lean running fault code. If the misfire gets to be too often the ECU will pick it up and shut down the injector on the offending cylinder. When this happens, if you clear the code with the engine running and the misfire goes away, that is classic compression loss which is becoming a major issue on the 3 and 4 cylinder engines often on 3 or 4 respectively, I think due to the valve guide getting too hot next to the EGR valve.

008801 isn't a valid number either. What did you use to find this number?
