VAG Error Code: 16952
EOBD II Error Code: P0568

Fault Location:
Cruise Control Switch (E45) - SET Signal Malfunction

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.
Cruise control system inoperative.

Signal Wire from Steering Column Control Module (J527) OR Central Electronics Control Module (J519) to Engine Control Module faulty.
Steering Column Control Module (J527) Coding faulty.
Cruise Control Switch (E45) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check Signal Wire from Steering Column Control Module (J527) OR Central Electronics Control Module (J519) to Engine Control Module.
Check Steering Column Control Module (J527) Coding.
Check Cruise Control Switch (E45).

Special Notes:
In most recent Models the Cruise Control is part of the Steering Column Control Module (J527) while in earlier ones it is Part of the Central Electronics Control Module (J519). Very early ones run the Wiring directly from the Stalk/Switch to the Engine Control Module. If in doubt, check the Wiring Diagram for Details.
When retrofitting Cruise Control, the Signal Wire from the Steering Column Control Module (J527) OR Central Electronics Control Module (J519) to the Engine Control Module is often not being added.

When is the code detected?:
The Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected a fault in the Cruise Control Set Switch.

Description:
The cruise control system keeps the vehicle running at a fixed speed until a signal cancelling this fixed speed is received. When the main switch is turned on with vehicle in the running mode, the battery voltage is applied to the Engine Control Module (ECM). When a signal from the control switch is input to the Engine Control Module (ECM) while the vehicle is in state, the Engine Control Module (ECM) controls fuel injection to make a car go at a steady speed you want. Also, while the system is operating, "CRUISE" indicator lamp in the meter assembly lights up.

VAG Error Code: 18359
EOBD II Error Code: P1951

Fault Location:
Radiator Fan 2 (V177) - Movement Restricted / Jammed

Possible Cause:
Coolant Fan 2 (V177) restricted/jammed.

Possible Solutions:
Check Coolant Fan 2 (V177) for Restriction/Blockade.
Check for Foreign Objects and Accidental Damage as well as Restrictions.

Special Notes:
Remove the Coolant Fan 2 (V177) Fuse(s) for Safety Reasons before checking it.

VAG Error Code: 17443
EOBD II Error Code: P1035

Fault Location:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor (G295) - Range/Performance Problem, Signal Implausible

Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)(K83) active.

Wiring.
Heating inoperative.
Nitrogen oxides (NOx) sensor (G295) faulty.

Possible Solutions:
Check / Replace Nitrogen oxides (NOx) sensor (G295).

Special Notes:
Check Measuring Blocks. Specification 0 - 90. The new Sensor goes down to -40.

VAG Error Code: 17796
EOBD II Error Code: P1388

Fault Location:
Engine Control Module (ECM) - Malfunction - DBW Throttle Monitoring

Possible Cause:
Check Throttle Position Sensors.
Engine Control Module (ECM).

VAG Error Code: 00932

Fault Location:
Electric Window Motor; Drivers Side (V147) - No or Incorrect Basic Setting/Adaptation

Possible Cause:
Window Automatic Run not working.
Pinch Protection limited.

Automatic Run & Pinch Protection not adapted.

Possible Solutions:
Adapt Automatic Run & Pinch Protection (see Special Notes).

Special Notes:
Pinch Protection Adaptation.
Make sure the window in question is completely closed.
Use the driver door window buttons to operate the window(s).
Roll down the window and keep holding the button down for 2 additional seconds after the window is already fully opened.

Thanks for your help Kithuk the car is under 3 month warranty from the garage bet a bit wary about what they cover as they always try and wriggle out of paying up looking at the problems the nox sensor is the one that worries me most as they are expensive, ive looked online and some people live with it as it doesn't effect the performance is this true?

Well there are a lot of codes there it depends what you want to put up with. Read the small print in your warranty. The NOx sensor may come under emissions for an MOT.

NOx sensor doesn't affect your emission on the MOT test. However if you warning light shows up on ur test you fail. Normally if you clear that fault code it will not come up for the next few days (thats was with my car)
Your car (AUM or AUQ engine) does not have an NOX sensor.
