The Caddy has been racing successfully for a number of years, I have yet to see it confirmed in the BTCC though
never been but would be good to go and see it !

30th March is almost upon us
Alain Menu driving a CC this year!! along with Aron Smith
After Onslow-Cole did well last year now there are two and with former champion Menu behind the wheel who knows what will happen this year
Cannot wait to see it
CC's going rather well people in BTCC you have to agree. Don't think people can call it a "old man's car" now

CC an old mans car?? Really? not heard that one, CC is a lovely bit of kit and most we see have professional males driving them 30-50
Modded for the track they look great just out of the financial reach for the younger crowd but then they would go for a nice tight hot hatch for budget fun
When I have mentioned my current liking of the CC to the younger GTI/GTD crowd have had odd looks and comments of "its just a Passat" not a fast coupe - at 40 years of age can see it is far more! and a sort of big Scirocco for somebody who needs space for a family (had many a MK2 scirocco GTX in my younger years). However I'm not a "professional" earner so they well could be out of reach for me for some time.
The gen 1 models great amount of car for the cash now. In BTCC trim the CC's look brilliant.

BRM have announced they will be running 4 CC's instead of 2 CC's and 2 Insignia's.
Good news for the VW brand.
