Volkswagen DiscoverCare
Sat Nav maps upgrade just became a lot simpler.
This application examines your current map SD card and guides you through checking for updates, backing up old maps and downloading and unzipping new map data to the SD card. I have not used it in full yet but looks promising and easier than the previous method.

I did not realise map updates were free until I came across by accident. Worked a treat using the SD card
