New Tiguan owner - some questions

New Tiguan owner (about 1 week now) and so far pleased with the car. Swapped from A4 due to Mrs Pedro's difficulty in accessing a fairly low car. One disappointment was the lack of cruise control (didn't notice on inspection and test drive etc. thought it would have been standard on this standard of car, my mistake) Since my mileage is way down since I retired no great issue however am I right that a retrofit option is available?. If so like likely garage costs?

I also miss the digital mph readout in the centre panel from the Audi. I note from other threads the km/hr secondary readout can't be changed or can it? (only mph on my speedo dial)

    Thanks

Cruise control is easy to fit but from home I can't get an idea of costs but around 200 ish.

There are two switches, with multifunction wheel 5K0 054 691E and without 5K0 054 690 E, they are both 207 then it has to be fitted and coded.

Hi all, I am in a similar situation. Picking up my 2015 2.0 177ps 4motion R Line Tiguan on Wednesday and would like to fit cruise. I have a genuine VCDS cable but is there a guide on doing the job and what parts are needed?

It is just the left stalk, the worst part is getting the air bag off.

Yes because VW are stupid in there design of simple things. The switch is moulded in the circle with no screws to separate them without taking the steering wheel off.

They have all this fancy computer technology which costs a fortune but they can't design this simply.
