VW Crafter short to earth on heat actuator

Hi I have a 2.5 vw Crafter it went into limp mode I had a few different scans done and fixed a few problems
New EGR and New heat sensor that still didn't fix the problem it then came up with dpf soot level heigh a local garage then told me I needed a new Dpf they replaced that and said it is running well now but has a short to earth on the add blue heat actuator
2 weeks later the van is back in limp mode again
He said the short must be the add blue heater
Can anyone please tell me if it may be that or not as I can't afford to keep throwing cash at it and I am unable to work because of this
    Thanks in advance
