    Adding your car spec.

    Hi guys.

I'm new to this forum but I'm a member of many VW forums and I'm a mod on two of them.

On other forums you will see that alot of regular users add their basic car spec to there signature which is a quick reference. I know some users say 02 Golf but there are many models of Golf both petrol and diesel. Some forums have a car spec as part of their User CP so its seen on every post they make, could that be implemented on here?

Now just browsing through the Comments & Suggestions I see loads of thread that talk about problems which a specific car surly these could be move to the relevant section so as not to clog up the Suggestions?

Adding your car spec to your signature:

If you click on Settings on the blue bar top right. Then click on Edit Signature on the left you can type in your car spec then you click Preview Signature to see what it looks like then click Save Signature. That will now be shown on every new post you make afterwards.

Crasher may ask for your engine code so.

You need this at the bottom of the post, your signature, I will see what I can do.

How dare the Law prohibit hashish and heroin yet license your use, who inflate all weak inferior egos? Their addicts only do harm to their own lives: you poison the lungs of the innocent, your din dithers the peaceful, and on choked roads hundreds must daily die by chance-medley. Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. It is a crying scandal that you cannot take the time or be bothered to build us, what sanity knows we need, an odorless and noiseless staid little electric brougham.

As said it needs to ne in your signature so it shows at the bottom of every post you make.

Click on Settings on the blue bar top right. Then click on Edit Signature on the left hand side then you can type in you vehicle spec, you could add the year?

Golf GT TDI 140, 5 Door, Black, BKDA engine, 6 speed

If you want is to stand out a bit more just add the bold tags without the spaces.

Update Keithuk: There isn't a BKDA engine.
