Past my test 2 years ago now, driving my Dads VW vento and since then learned to love it! its a unique car and is brilliant to drive. When i got it dad wasnt doing anything to it, had a bit of rust on the wheel arch, engine needed a bit of a clean and that.
I managed to get myself some money through work in the middle of last year and thought what about buying a new one, or modding my own one. ive never done a task like this before. Instead of buying the new one (cause it was petrol and id never get away from the petrol station) i decided to put my money to use. Bought some alloys and some VW stickers to fit in the cap to make it look nice and VW. Most VW alloys on ebay for the vento were in bad condition and i couldnt aford to refurb them. Then we sent the car away to get a new wheel arch where the rust was and a whole bottom half paint respray and get rid of any rust.
Got some new mirrors for her, and some new fog lights (in the middle of wiring in now). Inside looking at getting some red carpet maybe and some nice leather seats. Bought an original Spoiler and lowered the car when i got some new springs and shockers.
