park assist on passat highline saloon not working,checked faults with my vag com and it has come up with park assist warning chime open or short circuit.
I have ordered a new sounder from VW but cannot find where it is located,looked under parcel shelf and behind c pillar trims but no sign of it.

can anyone advise where the sounder unit is located???

this is the code i removed from system.

01543 parking aid warning chime (h15) 31-00 open or short to ground

i just cannot find any info anywhere about the location of the rear park assist sounder unit.

The warning buzzer H15 is VW part number 8E0 919 279. It is in the steel rear parcel shelf liner above the boot floor.
