Hi forum,
my eml has come on and my egr has gone faulty.
now I know the problem with them getting in moisture in them, well is there a way of unpluging it and putting a resistor in to fool it into thinking its working, as I would like to also fit a egr delete pipe in.
Thanks alot.

Not really recommended to bypass the EGR as its for emissions.

You need to get your motor scanned for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them.

EGR bypass is very common, have seen sooooo many recently however this WILL only lead to other issues in the long run so just fix it properly

Its the top of the egr that is full of moisture as the normal fault.
I have striped it and just givving it a full clean and I should have it working again.

I have removed the black cap off the top, cleaned it all up and now the fault it gone and all back to normal, for now
