Hi Andy. Its been a while and havent been in there since. From memory, I seem to remember the same issue if you went directly to the controller. I think I got to it by entering the vehicle electrics section first and then picking the aux heat controller up from that page. Going in by that route enabled me to enter the data. Dont forget that the aux heater will only normally fire up if outside temp is above 5c.but should fire up when you start the control module. I dont have that car anymore so I cant be of anymore help with that particular problem. I hope this helps and I hope you sort it.

Hi there

Just read a post where you fixed the aux heater and removed the fault code

"The aux heater now works fine. I used vcds to enter aux heater controler. group11. set with digit 1 in field then hit test button. heater fired up"

Where did to go to enter it all?

I've went into

"select control module" -> "7D-Aux Heat"

But the option for adaptation is greyed out :-(

Your help on this will be greatly appreciated
