    passat 32b lowering

Hi, can anyone tell me if a 1988 32b passat shares any front suspension parts with other models?

Mine has cut and shut mods on the lower suspension struts with polo 6n shocks. ( been told by previous owner)

I'm trying to get a suspension strut threaded cap to hold shock insert in strut housing? It's a bit of a mosh mash.does anyone have one?

Does anyone know of a better way to lower a 32b on original suspension?

    Cheers

It is basically the same as the contemporary type 81/85 Audi 80/90 saloon and Coupe up to 86 and 88 respectively. The top cap nut is still listed as being available from a VW dealer under part number 823 412 047 for about 10.
