    Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet 1302S 1971

Vw beetle 1302s 1971 in very good condition. Car is completly solid underneath, all floor pans rot free.
    Just Mot and fully serviced.
Brakes recently overhauled including new rubber lines, and brake light switch. Carburettor rebuilt with rebuild kit, very discrete looking electronic ignition with new spark plugs, leads, cap, coil and rotor arm. Ball joints just replaced and tracking set. Paintwork is presentable with age related blemishes. Roof has shrunk with age and could do with replacement at some point but does work.
Has only 47215 miles was dry stored for 14 years.
Car drives really well and is reliable and ready for use.

It's actually a 71, my 1302 LS auto is a 72, it would be a good idea to make potential purchasers aware that it is a converted saloon and not a factory Karmann cabriolet..

    Vile Invention

Dark was that day when Diesel conceived his grim engine that begot you, vile invention, more vicious, more criminal than the camera even, metallic monstrosity, bale and bane of our culture, chief woe of our Commonweal. How dare the Law prohibit hashish and heroin yet license your use, who inflate all weak inferior egos? Their addicts only do harm to their own lives: you poison the lungs of the innocent, your din dithers the peaceful, and on choked roads hundreds must daily die by chance-medley. Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. It is a crying scandal that you cannot take the time or be bothered to build us, what sanity knows we need, an odorless and noiseless staid little electric brougham.

Well spotted it is 71 shame cannot correct the title.

To be fair I did not think anyone would think it was a Karmann for price listed but certainly does not hurt to point said fact.

    Cheers Jon

Over the last 40 years I have often found those paying the least scream the loudest, if they got it home and inevitably found a fault they did not know about (it's an old car after all) they could use it as an excuse to push the car back at you, always better to cover ones posterior.
