    2018 Polo GTi+

Just holidayed in our GTi. It drives really well.
The display took a while to get to my liking, but it's great.
Sat nav is difficult to set via's on a route, the manual is not correct.
As all VAG sat nav's it likes to send you down single track roads with no passing places.
The fuel consumption on a 100+ mile journey including slow parts of the M25 was 48mpg, which is really good. I used ECO on the stop start stretches, switching to Normal when the road cleared.
I can't work out the variable boot load floor yet, but got everything including a case of wine.

I have two issues to report.
    1) Wiper judder; went to dealer who said all from South Africa were the same. The cure was a thorough clean with some special chemical; it seems to be cured.
    2) Rattles, from dash, not worth curing as the cures normally result in more rattles. My Wife's new Skoda Fabia has no rattles.
But it is a terrific car, my holiday in Mid-Wales was fantastic fun.
Getting 46 mpg on long runs.

    New Polo GTi update.
One dash rattle/click so bad I have had to book it in to the dealer to rectify, hopefully.
Now the weather is colder, other tinkles/rattles have gone away.
I have a standard fit full size spare wheel, so the specified 2 level boot floor cannot be used, which should be removed from the specification.
The wipers squeak at the low position of the swept area, but the juddering is better now the screen has been cleaned and polished a few times.
Overall mpg is 36, so far; lots of short journeys lately.
However it is a car that you want to take out, even if you have no reason to.
