    Towing electrics nightmare

    Hi, first post & newbie

I'm pulling what's left of my hair out trying to sort this. Bottom line, my trailer lighting board lead went under my trailer wheel while towing & stripped all the wires back to the copper, probably shorting something along the way. There was no strain put on the rear lighting socket as it was clove hitched around the jockey, it all looks factory fitted into the loom via the conector, bought a new light board, checked continuity across that & the 13-7 pin adaptor, everything good there, all fuses - in cab & engine bay are all fine, I'm getting brake & fog lights but no indicators or side lights on the new board?
The light fault lamp comes on sometimes on the dash also.

Any thoughts, should I be looking for a module?

Any help appreciated, cheers in advance

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

Your car spec says 0 even though you have posted in Amarok sub forum.

Can I suggest that you add your car spec to your signature as it will save users asking every time, if you know the engine code that will also be great? Oh you can't do this of a phone. Adding your car spec
