    Tiguan or Ateca

    Hi fellow members

I am a newbie to this forum but not to VW ( owned to Toucans previously).
I am looking at replacing my company car and really impressed by the Tiguan 2.0 SEL Nav. However keeping with VW group,.I am also impressed with the Seat Ateca1.5.TSI xcellence Lux. Both cars have features that really impress. Any advice most appreciated and will be ordering this week.

    Cheers
    Sean

    Vile Invention

Dark was that day when Diesel conceived his grim engine that begot you, vile invention, more vicious, more criminal than the camera even, metallic monstrosity, bale and bane of our culture, chief woe of our Commonweal. How dare the Law prohibit hashish and heroin yet license your use, who inflate all weak inferior egos? Their addicts only do harm to their own lives: you poison the lungs of the innocent, your din dithers the peaceful, and on choked roads hundreds must daily die by chance-medley. Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. It is a crying scandal that you cannot take the time or be bothered to build us, what sanity knows we need, an odorless and noiseless staid little electric brougham.

    Hi
Thanks for replies so far. I am lead to believe that the Tiguan is on s larger platform to the Ateca. Not sure if this is true or not but is certainly heavier and feels larger. I like the 1.5 petrol for tax and performance reasons and have been told the 1.5 Tiguan is not as sprightly.
As for current car, I am in my final weeks with current employer driving a Vauxhall (sorry) but it is awful and I hate it. I have had VW group before and want to return.
In respect to the Skoda. I have looked at the Octavia and Superb. There is supply issue with the 2.0 150 bhp diesel in SEL spec and will only take orders for cars from stock. I understand this is due to the testing for the new real world driving results. I did look at the Kodiaq but emissions really affect corporate tax and fuel tax.
I feel I an edging towards the xCellence Lux but aware of reports on driving experience on 19" wheels.
