    Automatic transmission oil specs

Ok guys, just moved on my diesel B6 Passat thanks to Mr Khan's ULEZ. I've bought a MKV Golf 1.6 FSI automatic but want to change the auto tranny fluid. I cannot for the life of me find anywhere the spec of auto tranny fluid I need. All the proprietary websites just advise a universal atf. I want to buy a good quality oil but need the VW spec if there's any VW techs out there? TIA for any help.

You need to post the transmission/gearbox code your new MkV Golf 1.6 FSI of the data sticker. The we will know if it a 5 speed, 6 speed or 7 speed auto box.

The year would be better as the MkV covers many years.

It has a BLF engine, an HTM gearbox, is a type 1K11H3 and was built 05-04-2006. The ATF is VAG part number G 055 025 A2 (A2 is just the bottle size) so whatever you use needs to conform to that spec, we use Febi.
