    Throttle body advice please

Hi guys I did post previously about this. Well as I said I have a Siemens throttle body avaible to me atm (03g128063v) and as you know my car has a bkd engine. Well when I plug (03g128063v) in the flap operates and seems ok but the EML won't go.out and it still says emmissions workshop!!. I did have to replace the get valve too as the diaphragm had gone. I replaced it with a working egr valve. Is it that the (03g128063v) flap is work I g ok with the car and that I possibly have other under lying problems? I haven't had the car scanned yet but it's going in tomorrow night for a service and a clutch kit and flywheel fitted.

    Thanks I advance guys

Have you checked fuse 8 in the engine bay fuse box?

You will have to clear the codes after a new fuse and flap.

I'm not 100% sure if I hear the fans coming on or not but I fitted a new fuse and stuck the Siemens unit in and it opens and closes as it should but I'm hoping it just needs the codes cleared as from the looks of the egr and butterfly flap it was coked in black gunk so I'm assuming the car was run like that for sometime. If the part I have doesn't wotknim going to have to fork out for a new one . Euro parts have it discounted for 133 atm.

Removing any legislated emissions systems is a Banned subject and the flap is partly there as an emergency shut down device in case of diesel runaway. Is the fuse blown again? It also powers the fan control unit.
