    Dreaded door locks

Hi guys AGAIN I'm having problems with the door locks on the car. Well the drivers door will only lock with the key , the drivers rear will lock buy won't open off the key the passenger side front seema fine and the passenger rear seems as if it snags after opening but locks and unlocks off the key. I understand the micro switches get dirty but the car bings when I leave the lights on and open the door so that sort of rules out the micro switches being dirty. So.im thinking the switches need replaced the ones with the 2 wires. Any advice is appreciated before I go stripping them down and leaving myself in the poo.

Start with a fault code read so you know what the central convenience system sees as the problem.

How dare the Law prohibit hashish and heroin yet license your use, who inflate all weak inferior egos? Their addicts only do harm to their own lives: you poison the lungs of the innocent, your din dithers the peaceful, and on choked roads hundreds must daily die by chance-medley. Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. It is a crying scandal that you cannot take the time or be bothered to build us, what sanity knows we need, an odorless and noiseless staid little electric brougham.

Sort of, VAG-COM is now VCDS and there are other suitable systems.

We do have VAG-COM/VCDS User Locations but very few members add their details.
