    2004 VW Bug

    Hi
    My wife has a 2004 bug she has just had the gear box and clutch renewed and the garage has removed the skid plate off should they have refitted it or is it ok to leave it off

    Your car spec says 0, only what I've added from this post.

    If you want the skid plate back on take it back to the garage.

    Skid plate? You mean the little plastic tray under the bumper?

    There is a bit of confusion over what they call skid plates. They do may a thick alloy plate as well as the plastic splash guard.
