    Mk 5 golf TDI boot won't open

    Boot on my mk 5 golf TDI had recently stopped working I am having to use the emergency release latch on the inside of the car everything else including rear window wiper, reverse lights, rear lights flash when holding boot button on fob, rear driving lights and also boot light is working fine what could be the problem

    You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
