Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

Chances are your Central Convenience Module is faulty. Best to confirm it with a fault scan.

If both window motors can be heard running then you need two regulator kits fitting. These are 143.51 from a VW dealer or you can get very good aftermarket replacements for 80 a side or less. However they are evil to fit, you have toe remove the door card from the inside to access the motor panel

and then the outer door skin which unlike any other car you can name has a removable outer skin to gain access to the internals so you can then remove the side impact cross brace and gain access to the lifter mechanism

You re use the original motor which is coded to the car. It is important to keep the skin bolts in the Condorcet order, put the long ones where the short ones go and you damage the external paint finish

We quote 2 hours per side to do them (and that is being generous) so more like 425.
