Owners manual , how to turn on fog lights?

I bought a 2007 Fox for my daughter. It came without an owners manual and the VW site only provides manuals for 2012 onwards. I obviously donít have a registration or VIN for a later model. Can anybody please point me in the right direction.

So far I have had to have the top end of the engine rebuilt and currently having the Power Steering Pump replaced.

Next problems are battery drain, oil consumption and fog lights

Can any body tell me how to turn the fog lights on? I suspect itís the inner rotary switch on the indicator stalk but as I donít have a manual Iím not sure, but canít get them to work.

    Many thanks
    John

I think you'll find if you pull the main light switch out, you'll get front spots and rear fog

Thanks John, but I think that on the Fox all the light switches are on the stalk. I will take another look when I get home.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

Your car spec says 0, only what I've added from this thread, minus engine size/type.

You can search and save VW brochures from this site. I've downloaded Fox-April-2007 Brochure.pdf

    https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/used-cars/all-models

    Handbooks search fleabay.

Are you talking about front fog lights or rear?

Apologies for not adhering to forum protocol, I will in my signature as soon as I a figure out how, but I've been trying to sort out getting my daughters car fixed in between other demanding activities.

The car is a 2007 VW Fox with 1.2 Petrol engine, as it came without a manual the details I have are sketchy.

I'm somehow thinking I will be a regular contributor here, as this car seems to need a lot of maintenance.

I have now found a switch which turns on only the offside Rear Fog light. I think there is a bulb in the other side too, but this does not light up. (Evidently some cars are just made this way).

I also believe this car has foglights in the bumper, which I haven't found out how to turn on yet.

GOOD NEWS, just back from a Power steering pump replacement, and steering works fine. Repair was a quarter of the price VW quoted my daughter.

Again, many thanks and apologies for not introducing myself previously.

Problem resolved. I eventually found the switch for the rear fog light (only has to have one) and VW inform me the car was built without front fogs. I suspect that it may have been repaired with a breakers bumper that happened to have fog lights in, but obviously no wiring. No wonder I couldnít find a switch!!
