    Mk5 1.6fsi gearbox

    Hi all I have a mk5 Golf 1.6 FSI auto with the HFR gearbox which is toast I can not find another hfr but have found a HFS from a Audi A3 does anybody know if it would be a straight fit and drive or would i have to program it being a slightly different code

    No, the HFR has a final drive ratio of 4.07 and the HFS is listed as being 1.06 which isn’t possible, would have to check that at work. It looks like the GSY is compatible.
    Note to users. I have cancelled my paid Photobucket subscription due to their awful service and bullying tactics so many of my pictures will vanish or be corrupted so please help me by pointing these out and I will re host them from my paid Flickr account
