    Welcome to the forum.

Its nice to see you made an intro on your own.

There are loads of Touran diesels, TDI, TDI-PD, TDI-CR.

I believe the set up for engine are different for diesel(TDI) and petrol(TSI) hence would like to know which other VW model using 1.4TSI that i can get info for engine problems and upgrade.

How dare the Law prohibit hashish and heroin yet license your use, who inflate all weak inferior egos? Their addicts only do harm to their own lives: you poison the lungs of the innocent, your din dithers the peaceful, and on choked roads hundreds must daily die by chance-medley. Nimble technicians, surely you should hang your heads in shame. Your wit works mighty wonders, has landed men on the Moon, replaced brains by computers, and can smithy a "smart" bomb. It is a crying scandal that you cannot take the time or be bothered to build us, what sanity knows we need, an odorless and noiseless staid little electric brougham.

It is a type 1T2 HC3 which means a post 2006 revision Touran and the "H" means it is the "HIGHLINE" trim spec and C3 signifies it as a 125Kw DSG model. BLG is the engine code (the only code used in a 1T2 HC3). D6F means it has a DSG 6 speed, front wheel drive of the 02E type (design DQ250) but there are 6 possible different versions used in your model and the possible codes are JBT, JPS, KDC, KNF, KPY or LRC. The BLG when new won multiple awards such as engine of the year about three times but as it has aged, it has turned into a bit of a nightmare, if they go wrong they can cost stupid amounts of money to put right; working on them is extremely time consuming and the parts can be daft money such as a water pump costing five times what one for a normal 1.4 16v would cost.
