    Hi All. Door frustration

Could anyone help me, my local garage are totally stumped om an issue with the door open warning light on the dash ( and the ping noise)
How it started. Randomly the door open light and the ping would sound whilst driving, sometimes the light would stay on, other times it would go out. Strangely it was more prone to happen when going round a right hand bend.
However the main problem is when its been locked by the remote after a while the alarm would sound, probably because the door open sensor has activated it. Sometimes it won't lock the side and rear doors ( the indicators don't flash when this happens) Wiring has been checked, door sensors have been checked, computer says that all doors are locked ok. Every possible avenue has been tried that we can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can try. Is there a vehicle control module for the alarm? Please Help with any suggestions or any specialist company who can help, I'm based in Leicester but to rectify this problem I would travel anywhere. Thank you.

    Welcome to the forum.

Its nice to see you made an intro on your own.

    2014 Crafter 2.0 TDI

That isn't easy to diagnose on the web.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
