    User Account Default

    PLease advise,

I have my 2018 Golf TDI now and set up a user account but every time I enter car it goes back to default.

I have read about syncing it with my car key but cannot find any details how to do this.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    User Account Default?

You mean it can't remember your setting?

Are you using a phone to login here, as they aren't much good for a lot of options.

Also do you use Ccleaner as that can delete all cookies from a site you have used. In setting cookies just transfer the site from left to right so it doesn't delete them when it cleans.

Post moved to the correct section as its not a general question.

Your car spec say TDI but which size 1.6 or 2.0?

    Sorry 2.0

No not using a phone. If I change it to my account using steerling wheel < or on screen it only remembers me until I remoce the key and then it forgets.

What is steerling wheel and remoce are these of your radio/sat/nav?

I've looked at your settings and they appear to look ok.

You made another thread with the same problem I've merged them.

You posted in In Car Entertainment, I've moved it to a better section.

so I am assuming nobody knows how to set your user account as deafult lol seems a pretty easy and common think to be able to do. User manual is hopeless.
