    Hi Everyone

    Hello Everyone

I'm new Passats having become the owner of a family friends 2007 Passat B6 Estate 2.0 TDI 140PS with dsg gearbox.

I live in a village near Spalding Lincolnshire, happily married father of 5 with 6 (I think) grandchildren, and I'm only 44!!!

So far I am really not impressed with the Passat as it appears to be a real lemon. I am about to go to the relevant thread and start my trouble shooting.

My previous car was a Saab 93 TTid so I'm not averse to unreliability, but at this moment in time I'm thinking I've made a HUGE mistake with this one

So, hopefully some of you may be able to help me with the ever growing list of woe.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Wayne

Quite honestly the Passat 3C from 2006>2008 was an utter disaster of a car where reliability is concerned and still is, the biggest Lemon of a car I personally know of, in nearly 40 years of professionally repairing VAG group cars I cannot think of one that is more unreliable and a bigger headache than an early 3C, I would not have one if you gave it me..... ohh hang on we bought one last week, well a 2010 but still, what is wrong with me? My excuse is the business is buying it as a loan car, nothing to do with me, I hate Diesel...

Well here we have a VW owner in trouble and bordering on suicide.
Just my opinion of course but your bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired young man.
