    Vw lt 35 2.5 tdi 109

    Hi new to this forum can anyone tell me if fuel lift pump is in tank pickup
    or elsewhere?

    They don't have an in tank pump, just the high pressure pump mounted on the side of the engine. Follow the metal fuel feed pipes from the injectors and you'll find it.

    just as I thought!
    this van is a poor starter probably glow plugs
    changed filter always starts after a few seconds churning
    glow plugs difficult to remove especially last 2

    Introducing my self
    I am 71 now but still fixing cars
    I have a Toyota Avensis t27, a Saab 93 convertible 1.9 tid the vw lt 35 109 as a camper van converted by myself!
    a Porsche 944 2.7 lux my wife runs a hybrid Toyota Yaris
    so I have lots to look after

    They are a bit of a pain to get at, good luck with it and let us know if the new glow plugs sort it.
