    Installing OEM lowline camera.

    Hi again,
Iím planning on installing a rear view camera on my Amarok,
It has an RNS 315 headunit installed with the 26 pin connector on the back (Iíve checked it has this)
It has rear parking sensors from factory, no front sensors.
Ive seen OEM lowline camera kits online for between 200-300 euro.
lowline camera has no moving lines which is fine by me as I mostly want it for hitching up to a trailer.
I know that the camera will need coding after itís installed, thatís no problem.
what Iím wondering is, before I fork out for the camera kit, does anyone know any reason why it wouldnít work ok for me, i.e. not communicating ok with the headunit or any other problems which people may have experienced fitting a camera.
    thanks

Is that an OEM camera or aftermarket?

Do you have access to VAG-COM\VCDS?

Said I’d give this a bump.
Well I’ve ordered the kit from cars-equipment.com.
Its the lowline version, I’m not interested in the high line version with moving lines, too expensive for what it is.
there will be 3 wires that need wiring up I think, yellow, black and red, I’ll know more when it arrives.
if anyone has any advice on cable routing, installation, wiring, programming etc. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks
