    Traction Warning Issue

Hi guys, hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction!

For a little while now the traction warning light has been coming on intermittently, and occasionally the EPC light too, but more recently every time I first drive the car the light flashes for a good minute or so and it feels like the engine is fighting against the acceleration. It clears after a minute or so (though sometimes the light remains on) but the car feels absolutely fine to drive.

The tyres are in good condition and my father-in-law who has a pretty good knowledge of cars generally is stumped as to what it could be. Always keen to try and give things a go ourselves, so just wondering if anyone has had similar issues or might be able to give some advice please?

    Thanking everyone in advance!

You need to have the car scanned for error codes, that would be a good starting point.

As suggested: You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
