    Touareg tires size

    Hi all,

    I have a 2015 Touareg R-Line 3.0 TDI.
I fit Pirelli scorpion eco 275/45/R20 110W. Cannot find on the manual any reference to alternative sizes.
    1) first of all could I go with Y speed code instead of W (my car does no go to 300 Km/h!!1). There are considerable saving going down one step. Some websites even report H speed code for the OEM tires!
    2) I would not mind fitting taller tires for more comfort but not sure if 265/55 would touch the inner when when turning? or are they going to be legal?

I know probably safer staying with what I already got but I would like to investigate my options.

Thanks for your help in advance

    Anyone?

Any suggestion on tires? I am considering buying the original Pirelli Scorpion verde (I recently had to change one so I need just 3 new ones for just under 600).

Though tempted by mid market Avon at 120 each plus fitting which looking at the EU label are not that far from Pirellis. Curious to try a big budget brand like Accelera at 65 each though I have some doubts. 260 for 4 I can change the tires every 6000 miles....
