Why do you ask about Touran when your car spec says 2014 Golf SV SE 1.4 TSI.
Do you have a Touran or are you asking for someone else?
Is the Touran suitable to carry 3 children (preferably in 3 isofix seats in the rear 3 seats, not in seat 6 & 7 if
a 7 seater version)? Are 5 seater versions available to max boot space?
Needs to be petrol and probably manual gearbox. Any restrictions on what child seats will fit,
child ages under 6 months, 2 and 2.
Any issues and is the 1.4 TSI petrol engine suitable choice and reliable?
Year 2010 to 2012 or thereabouts with around 8OK miles
on the clock.
Any user experience and advice on choice appreciated?

Yes, my daughter needs to upgrade car to deal with 3 very young one's.
Hope I am not breaking any forum rules.
Ours too small to pass on.

Hi Kibby,
Have you seen the Parkers review for the Touran? It says that "You can also fit three Isofix child seats next to each other in the second row, and there are mounts for two in the back seats."
Full details are at https://www.parkers.co.uk/volkswagen/touran/review/

Golf Plus SE 1.6 TDI DSG from 12/2011 to 2/2015.
Thanks for the information.
It seems that the Version 1 Touran 2010-2015 has 2 ISOFIX seats in the second row and 2 ISOFIX seats in row 3.
The Version 2 Touran 2015-2019 has 3 ISOFIX seats in the second row and 2 ISOFIX seats in row 3.
If I have this wrong please update me.
Is their any age restrictions to any of these seats (as I think I read somewhere the 3rd row seats
are not suitable for all the range of ages between 0 and 12....So does anyone have info on this (handbook??).
To maximise luggage space it seems a 5 door Touran 2015 onwards (3 second row ISOFIX seats) would be
the best compromise.
Would this be correct bearing in mind need to accommodate 2 year old twins and 1 newborn child.
Not sure from research if this option is available (5DR, 3 ISOFIX 2nd row).
Needs to be petrol so choice may be limited.
If have to go with the 7 seat version how would you best distribute the 3 over the 5 ISOFIX seats from row 2 backwards
bearing in mind any age restrictions and safe luggage storage?
Any advice appreciated.
