Is this for the original battery or a backup?

It’s to fit in my Tiguan. I replaced the 075 battery last week with an 096 which is physically bigger

I don’t think you can go that big, today I have been building a battery box for an 096 Yuasa 9000 under the back seat of a Golf 2 and they are huge.

I'm sure we used to buy 096 batteries where I used to work. I can't remember of hand the ah but I think is was around 70-80ah.

    Google batteries fitment and sizes.

I fitted a new battery earlier this year and bigger capacity.

The use Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) now I'm old so I use the good capacity ah which means more.

The Yuasa 9000 I am building an under back seat box for says 80Ah on top, I would have gone bigger but there isn't enough width available.
