    Volkswagen CC

Hi recently purchased a 2014 CC it’s a beautiful car, I’ve got power folding mirrors but they only fold via the incar button can i somehow set em to my key so they close when I lock the car?

    It’s also got keyless start.

You need to look in the manual.

You should be able to set it to the infotainment system somewhere under Settings. I have such a setting on my 2013 Golf, so you should have it as well.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

If you don't have a drives handbook or radio/sat/nav handbook.

You need to check if folding mirrors are fitted.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

What were those error codes from the sat/nav screen or VAG-COM/VCDS as they mean nothing or a generic scanner?

I checked a few online forums everyone was telling through the vag com change some settings to 99 or 95 to activate the folding mirrors, but on the new Tiguans you change a different parameter I tried that and it worked il find the post and copy n paste it here

For GEN4 it goes like this:
    ECU 42 > Login: 04354 > Adaption > Channel "(9)-System_Parameter_0-System Parameter Byte8" > set value to "95" or "99"

    90 = default value
95 = mirror folding via keyfob and automatic opening on ignition on
99 = mirror folding via keyfob and automatic opening on driver door open

Even though Iíve got the GEN4 this didnít work for me. What worked is this-
Goto module 42, unlock by going to security tab (VCDS will tell you the code).

    Goto adaptation

    find

    (2)-System_Parameter_14-System Parameter Byte1, change E0 to E5 - open with ignition

    or

    (2)-System_Parameter_14-System Parameter Byte1,change E0 to E9 - open with door

    Save

Make sure convenience is set in the MFD
