    Dmf clatter

I run a few Lt 35's for my business, an engineering company and they are used for deliveries and have found them well capable of heavy loads. Two of the vehicles are very noisy when idling. It's most likely Dmf as when clutch is pressed in or they are up at speed, vibration goes away.

Am giving a lot of thought to coverting both to single mass flywheel. I think the heavy loads and a good deal of trailer work are not best suited to a Dmf setup.

Any thoughts /opinions on single verses dual mass flywheel?

Your fuel consumption will suffer by approx 5% and they can affect gearbox and crankshaft longevity.

I have heard stories of crankshafts snapping with SMF conversions but only seen it once on a Golf 6.
