    Caddy 2010 fault code P00C600

Hi guys I have a 2010 Caddy 1.6 TDI, I have a fault code P00C600 code flash up on my van.. I was driving along and the van wouldn’t let me accelerate..

I had my mechanic look at the pump which he said the fuel was still getting through,, we just changed the fuel pressure regulator but still the same..

When the car start it runs for about 5-10 seconds then peters out and eventually stalls..

I’m now 8 days without my van and desperate for help.. any Advice would be massively appreciated

    Thanks chris

What was that error code P00C600 scanned with as there are to many 00 at the end?

    VAG Error Code: 10119
    EOBD II Error Code: P00C6

    Fault Location:
High Pressure Fuel Rail - Engine Cranking - Pressure too Low/Minimum Pressure Not Reached

    Possible Cause:
    Fuel level low.
    Fuel leak/blockage.
    Fuel Pump (G6).
    Injector(s).
    Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247).

    Possible Solutions:
    Check/Replace all faulty Wiring/Connector(s).
    Read Measuring Value Blocks (MVB).

As taken from my new EOBD II Fault Codes Software

Post moved to the correct section as its not a general question.

Thanks for your reply @keithuk.. when he cracks injectors I get a lot of fuel outta them.. so it wouldn’t be fuel pump? He changed the pressure regulator on right of fuel rail.. is it worth changing the sensor on left of fuel rail and then try again?

I’m loosing the will too love with it lol

That is an extremely high pressure system running at hundreds of Bar, the mechanically driven high pressure pump is prone to failure. Has it had a fuel filter recently or been misfueled with petrol?

You need to have someone with VAG CR diesel experience to check the high pressure system values checked.
