2012 Golf Cabriolet 1.6 TDI headlight not working, drivers side

Hi everyone I'm new to this and really need some help

Picked up my golf this evening and drove it home with no issues, parked up for a hour then went to go back out to realise my drivers side headlight has stopped working. Bulb looks fine just totally shocked as it was perfect only a hour ago.

That isn't an easy question to answer on a forum.

Headlamp not working check the bulb/fuses and wiring and connectors. A visual check on a bulb doesn't always mean its good. Check it on the battery with a jumper wire.

Have you fitted any LED bulbs?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

Post moved to the correct section as its not a general question.
