vw logo domed hub caps for 4 stud wheels

    First post, so Hi!

Had my 1971 Beetle coming on 2 years and the VW logo domed hub caps are looking tatty and rusty so looking similar replacements.
Car is '71 with later 4 stud wheels and have searched around and ordered ones thought were similar, but were not 'domed' like mine - more flat.
Have found domed on the older 5 stud wheels.

Photos attached show my rusty dome one and the flat ones I have tried.

    Any suggestions?
Don't want plain baby moon type - hoping for ones close to one on car.
Must have been able to get them as on my beetle when I got it.

    Cheers
    John

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

There are plenty of classic Beetle restorers that sell parts you can Google. There are companies that re-chrome parts but they will be expensive if done correctly.

    thanks Keith
yep been googling on/off for some time and no joy
re-chroming might be a final resort, or go for the plain no logo baby moon ones which are good value for s/steel, but would prefer the VW logo
