    Does poor battery effect regen

For a long time now my battery has a resting voltage way below 12.6. Only this winter did it seem like it was not turning the engine over quite as well.

I have not noticed any DPF regen happening for a while and wondered if the battery effects this?

Also noticed it seems to be lugging more (noisier) in 4th at 30mpg.

    Thanks

Does the radio/sat/nav does it suggest the battery needs replacing?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

    No visible errors are reported.
Also start stop only works after a long run .. not fussed about that as pretty sure that is the battery causing it.

I can't see how it would affect a regen if the voltage was good when running
