    TPMS System

Hi - apologies if this has been covered before...

I have a 2011 Passat. Got in the other day and the tyre pressure warning symbol is flashing for about a minute and then stays on. The tyre pressure page off the information panel has disappeared as well as the tyre pressure option on the list.

Do I need to replace the TPMS module?

    TIA.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

I'm not sure on 2011 Passat if there is a reset button in the glovebox.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

    Hi

Thanks. There is no reset button - you have to do it through the screen menu which has now disappeared.

I am assuming I need to replace the module unit - is there a separate one or is it part of the emu?

If there is not reset button in the glovebox which radio/sat/nav is fitted as there is an option in there to reset the TPMS.

If you don't have the radio handbook then Google VW radio's images and see which model matches yours.
