    Jetta limp mode on idling

Hi, first post here. I have a 2009 Jetta 1.4 TSI twin charged. I noticed that if I kept the car idling, it would go into limp mode. It could be minutes of idling or it could be seconds before it would happen. I took it to the garage and it said misfire so naturally went with what mech said and got the plugs and coil pack done.

I’m still having the problem. Sometimes when I start it, it kind of gets half way and then needs a few revs to get it going properly, if that makes any sense.

It never goes into limp mode when moving which is what I find strange.
Has anyone else had anything like this?

Any help would be appreciated and I am happy to give more info if I can.

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
