    Another newbie with another problem

    Hi folks,
I just came across this forum recently. It seems you have a nice VW enthusiast community over here, I hope I'll fit in nicely.

I have a 2007 Touran 1T2 with twincharged 1.4 TSI engine (BMY). I didn't poke under the bonnet for a while, so just realised that after the last visit to the local garage in 2019 two parts of the air intake duct system went missing, not to mention that they put the wrong oil in the car and broke the windscreen wash hose so the fluid was spraying everywhere inside the engine bay. I managed to fix the hose myself and will do the oil change too, but I cannot find the part number of one missing piece.
Here are two pictures that show the two missing parts, one is the cover on top (1st photo) which I think is 1K0805965G 9B9 (but correct me if I'm wrong). The second piece fits on the bottom (2nd photo) and should direct the airflow upwards. If I'm not mistaken the 1.4 TSI engines come with 3 different air intake duct designs, I managed to find all part numbers for the other two designs but not for this one, which annoys the hell out of me. Maybe one of you lovely people happen to have the same engine with the same air intake system and perhaps I could ask you to check the part number on the plastic for me?

Remind me tomorrow by private messaging me your REG, those parts are ridiculously fragile and can simply fall off and exit under the car.

    Thanks Crasher.
By the way, just noticed that I accidentally created this thread twice, could an admin be so nice to delete one of them please.

Using your VIN you sent me the parts are

Intake air duct 1T0 805 962 9B9 (this should be OK)

Air duct 1T0 805 971 A (the screw mounting tags on these snap off

    Intake air duct 1T0 805 962 B 9B9

Adjuster 1K0 805 965 G 9B9 (odd name for a cover cap but this is the part you have missing)

Hi, just a little update. 1K0805965G 9B9 arrived and it fits perfectly, still waiting for the second bit.
    Thanks again Crasher.
