Limp Mode Problem/engine management /Coil Light VW Crafter

Hi I have a 2013 Crafter 2.0 TDI, when i start it up the engine management light comes on along with the glow plug light, these both then start to flash and when driving the vehicle the engine has low power (I presume a limp mode to protect it).

Im wondering what might be causing the lights to come on, the problem first occurred when we were in Spain and the light came on upon our return back to the UK, it was overdue a service by 3000 miles at this point, Ive taken it to two garages to get diagnostics done and nothing shows up other than an isolated water pump issue, it was serviced the week we arrived back and has done less than 100miles since, Ive been using DPF cleaner but to no great affect.

    Vans currently on 97,000 miles

any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Emlyn

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

What were those error codes scanned with a generic scanner as there are to many 00's?
