    MK4 Golf Armrest

After the middle armrest assembly for my Golf. Its a fabric one. Current one, the lid is snapped and you cant move the armrest without the contents flying.

Common problem right across the VAG range, a Polo 6R I had in yesterday had a broken lid and we have done a few on late A8’s where a replacement is invariably a custom order from Germany which takes about a month. For the Golf 4 the majority are obsolete and the dean changed mid 2000 so you need to known when yours was built (not registered) but just about all you can get is satin black which is about 150. If you are looking for used, bear in mind the design changed again mid 2001 and again in mid 2002.

Thats actually quite interesting. It does annoy me how manufacturers change parts so regularly across model years. You can see where mistakes happen. I have enough of this myself at work. Its always the "not so important" parts that keep getting changed.
Well its definitely MY2000. Will have to keep eyes pealed.

    Thanks for the info

You'd like to think the mounting brackets would be the same and you could just swap out the assembly.
