drives slower during down hill decent

    I have a 2011 Passat CC 2.0 TDI.

When going starting to go down hill the car slows down like as if I performed an engine break and takes a while to settle down. I recently had the EGR replaced but this problem was before the change too.

    Any suggestions?

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

That isn't an easy question to answer on a forum as we don't know what has been done or checked.

Is it a manual gearbox or DSG?

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

I remember reading a VW Technical Product Information notice about this, I will try and dig it out tomorrow if you remind me.
