    Replacement wing mirror

Unfortunately I've smashed my passenger side wing mirror and have been quoted 735 for a new wing mirror. This is without fitting and respray. All in all it comes to just over 900. This seems excessive, would it be worth going to an independent garage? It's an R Line Tech 230 Tiguain, 20 plate. Because of blind spot detection I'm thinking it's best to go through the dealership to get the correct part?

Door mirrors are becoming insanely expensive to replace, it's daft... yes buy genuine. Private message me your reg so I can check which one it is, probaly 5NC 857 507 AE 9B9 which is 654.86 plus the cover.
