There is usually a way to unlock the car even when the central locking is not working by removing a cap from the door lock and using a key manually. That will then let you open the bonnet. The details should be in your owners manual for your particular car.

Now that VW have ceased production of the Golf SV, and believe cars should only come in 50 shades of grey, I have ordered a Race Blue Skoda Karoq Sportline as a replacement!

Yes but there's not one on passenger side but one on show on drivers side but that just spins round

No it's normally only on the driver's door. But if that lock is broken... then perhaps the only way is to get at the bonnet latch itself someway. But I've no idea how, so let's wait for the experts to pick up this thread.

As I told you on the other forum, you need to get the car up, remove the lower cover and get power to the chassis and the starter motor power cable.

After an errant EOS roof in service mode tried to cut me in two, I am inclined to agree but getting a VAG specialist out to it may coast less than you get for scrap. Unfortunately cars of the future are going to be scrapped far before their time due to systems that make their repair impractical or even impossible, often in the sake of the “environment”. Tailpipe emissions are one thing but you still have to make and ship the things...

Yes bad cars makes it worse only just bought it, my passenger window is half way down tried putting a hook over bonnet catch but seem door must be open to pull catch, I basically got ripped off with it my own fault I suppose, is the starter motor easy to get at then, I was hoping to open it via the front grill fishing round for catch but prob won't work damm thing

You have already made a thread don't make a new one because you don't like what was suggested.

    Stick with the original thread.
