    electronic ignition

    i have a 1967 Beetle 1500 and wanted to know whats the best electronic ignition kit to fit?
    any advice welcome

    First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

    There are loads of electronic ignition kits on the market, Google them.

    On my old 1968 Type 2 1600 I fitted spark rite which clips around the ignition coil.

    It had a switch you could switch back to the conventional contact breakers if it went faulty.
