    Wheel change recommendations

Hi looking to change the wheels on my 2017 Golf Match BlueMotion 1.6 TDI.

Obviously not a top spec performance car but would like to change the standard dovers I believe maybe for a slightly larger rim.
Any recommendations please on a nice not overly expensive rim to go for and ones that will go straight on.
Also anyone tell me the stud centers of the car please

The OEM part number for the Dover alloy rims is 5G0601025BN and the specification is 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 with suitable tyres being 205/55R16

    7Jx17 ET49 5/112 57.1 with suitable tyres being 225/45R17

205/55R16 tyres give a more comfortable ride than 225/45R17 tyres

Yes, they will all fit straight on as they are all OEM 17" rims for the MK7 Golf. I selected 7J rims instead of 7.5J rims, as the narrower 7J rims will give a better ride when fitted with 225/45R17 tyres and the rims are less exposed to kerbing damage. However, I prefer the look of the 5-spoke 16" Dover alloy rims.
